Veranda Beach Resort offers vacation home-owners and visitors an experience that harkens back to the 1950s. Leisurely evenings spent watching sunsets from the veranda, swimming at the sandy beach, and chatting with friends and neighbors are all opportunities that this resort offers. J.A. Brennan developed designs for natural beach enhancement, landscaping standards, recreational amenities, and a trail system for this new resort.

The project included design of the resort's entrance, pedestrian and auto circulation systems, and recreational amenities such as pools, recreational meadows, and play areas. A rich Mediterranean style courtyard was developed for cottage clusters in the vineyard setting. The courtyard design includes auto courts, plazas, spas, water features, and Mediterranean or vineyard-themed plantings. The beach was enhanced with habitat friendly lakeside plantings to attract wildlife to the site and frame views to the lake.
