A project to widen Lakewood¡¯s 108th Street corridor and add sidewalks provided an opportunity for streetscape enhancement in a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood. J.A. Brennan worked with homeowners to create a landscape that respects the neighborhood¡¯s residential aesthetic. The design addresses privacy concerns by integrating plant screening and wood fencing. Replacement of existing fences and plantings creates a consistent streetscape character. Street trees, and native and ornamental drought tolerant shrubs form a harmonious landscape. Design includes construction documents, fence details, and limited irrigation design.
