J. A. Brennan Associates is working in association with URS Corporation to restore Newport Creek in the City of Bellevue. The tributary to Coal Creek has suffered from urban abuse and the invasion of non-native plants. The team is working to make these creeks fish friendly and provide habitat opportunities for other wildlife.

The habitat improvements will recreate a healthy and fish sustainable ecosystem in the creek. J.A. Brennan Associates is assisting the City of Bellevue by facilitating the public involvement process and providing design services for planting, irrigation, informal paths, and limited site detailing. The conceptual plans show in-stream features (by others), vegetation enhancements, and drainage improvements to the watershed system.
