Beaver Lake Preserve Master Plan and Phase 1 Implementation
Beaver Lake Preserve’s natural attributes offer visitors passive recreation opportunities such as hiking, water access, and bird watching. A loop trail sends hikers through a preserved cedar and Douglas fir forest and past wetlands rich with life. J.A. Brennan developed the master plan and construction contract documents for the preserve’s trail system, which connects with the trails of adjacent open spaces, including Hazel Wolf Wetland and King County’s Soaring Eagle Park. Other enhancements included a visitor parking area and trailhead kiosk.
