Riverview Park Master Plan and Habitat Enhancement Channel

J.A. Brennan developed a master plan for a 15-acre site along the Green River. Primarily oriented towards passive recreational use. The main design goal was to enable users of all abilities to see, touch and use the river.

In a later phase, J.A. Brennan coordinated with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to mesh design of a habitat enhancement channel with the park design. The design of this salmon-habitat enhancement project restores native vegetation to part of the site and creates a small beach.

Wooded trails, educational signage, and view platforms enhance the visitor’s experience and provide information about the Green River ecosystem.
