Park at Bothell Landing

J.A. Brennan developed a master plan for Bothell’s premier park and gathering space. The master plan takes advantage of a planned re-alignment of SR 522 to expand the park and connect it and the Sammamish River to Bothell’s downtown.

J.A. Brennan explored alternatives for generating revenue, expanding the existing amphitheater and event space, adding an entry plaza with a focal point fountain, improving habitat along the river shore, and expanding the active recreation space to include a new playground, a nature play area, and teen activities such as a skating and climbing. The master plan also improves the spatial relationships of existing historic buildings and memorials, and improves connections to regional bike and pedestrian trails.
